Outlook 2000 Spam Filter
This page will detail how to set up the Microsoft Outlook 2000 Rules Wizard to move emails detected as spam to your deleted items folder. If you want to put these emails in another folder, then you must create a folder in Outlook and then substitute that folder name with the deleted items folder in the below tutorial.
Please note that you must be subscribed to the Compwise Anti-Spam service for this to work.
Open Microsoft Outlook and click the Tools menu. Select Rules Wizard from the list.
If you already have rules running in outlook, you will see the screen below. Click New to create a new rule. If this is your first rule then skip this image.

Select Check messages when they arrive and then click Next

Tick the box next to with specific words in the subject. This will select it and enter it into the bottom box. You must now select which words to run the rule on. In the bottom box click on the text specific words.

Enter the text SPAM: ( you must enter the colon after spam) in the box and click add. Then click OK.

Tick the box next to move it to the specified folder. This will enter it into the bottom box. Click on the word specified to specify which folder you want to move it to.

In this scenario we are moving all mail marked spam to the Deleted items folder. You can use whatever folder you want. Select Deleted items (or the folder of your choice) and click OK.

You should now see your complete rule in the bottom box. Ensure that the checkbox next to SPAM is ticked and click OK.

Your Rule should now be set.
